Scale Tinker Electronics Digital Dash

This is a scale version of the well-known Tinker Electronics dash we all know and love in the full-scale world. Built around a crisp 1.5-inch screen, it features fully active live readouts and a separate competition timer screen activated right from your throttle.

These units are completely plug-and-play: just plug the included Y-harness into your Channel 2 receiver port, connect your ESC to one side of the Y, and plug the dash into the other. You're ready to run!

Choose between side or top LED positions based on the product photos. Mounting can be done using double-sided tape, or via two 2mm mounting holes in the rear of the bezel. The screen can also be removed from the housing for custom flush-mounting (similar to the final photo).

Note: The dash will remain in demo mode if your transmitter is powered off.

🖥️ Touch Screen Controls

• 1-Second Hold (Main Dash): Switches from the Main Race Dash over to the Timer Screen.

• 3-Second Hold (Timer Screen): Switches back from the Timer Screen to the Main Race Dash.

• Short Tap: Toggles the countdown timer between Play and Pause.

• Swipe Right (> 50 pixels): Resets the timer back to 06:00 (Only functions while on the Timer Screen and while the timer is paused).

🎮 Throttle & Timer Rules

• Throttle Screen Switch: Pull the throttle forward 3 rapid times within 1.5 seconds from the Main Race Dash to automatically switch over to the Timer Screen.

• Neutral Requirement: You must return the trigger to neutral (< 5% deadzone) between each of the 3 pulls so holding the trigger down won't accidentally trigger the switch.

• 5-Second Post-Switch Lockout: After switching to the Timer Screen, the throttle is locked out from auto-starting the timer for 5 seconds to give you time to center your trigger.

• Auto-Resume: When the timer is paused on the Timer Screen, pulling the throttle forward (> 5%) will automatically start or resume the countdown.

• Auto-Pause: If the timer is running and you leave the throttle at neutral (< 5%) for more than 10 seconds, the timer will automatically pause itself.

⚙️ Troubleshooting & Inversion

If you need to invert the readout for forward and reverse:

1. Disconnect your motor wires first (the three wires running to the motor).

2. Turn on your transmitter.

3. Hold the trigger down and power on the dash. The screen will flash, and your throttle logic will be inverted.

Alternatively, you can tune your ESC to swap motor directions and then reverse your throttle on your transmitter.
